Labor Day this year was a lot of fun. We were feeling guilty for not having gone camping a single time this summer (we should have felt pretty lucky--camping with kids is not what camping used to be) so we finally sucked it up and ventured out on a small camping trip up at Pineview. We suckered in my brother Jake and his family to join us. For all of the headache camping is from the packing of TONS of gear to the dirt in everything--and I mean everything--to the mosquitos and sleepless nights and the thousands of loads of laundry when we get home, it really is worth it. The kids absolutely love it. It is one big adventure. And to be honest, it really was fun. Maybe I can handle camping...once a year!
