For one of our summer field trips we went to Wheeler Farm. There were tons of great photo spots. My sweet sister-in-law, Ashlee, brought little toy boats for all of the kids to play with. They had so much fun racing their boats down the little creek.

St. George Getaway
When my 6 weeks was FINALLY, and I mean FINALLY, up we headed to St. George for a weekend getaway. St. George is always good for a mini vacation.
Rob's New Baby
So anyone who knows Rob knows he has ALWAYS wanted a hot tub. A hot tub and a skate ramp is his American Dream. Since he'd already given his skate ramp a try (We all know how that ended!), it was time for a hot tub. I was not that surprised when he had tracked one down that he could get for free as long as he would haul it away...so yes, we now have a hot tub. I expressed my usual realistic concerns (I'm a realist, remember, not a dream killer), but of course he always gets what he wants. For once, however, I might actually have to eat my words. We are loving it! Even in 90 + degree weather. At night when the sun's gone down and it's not so hot anymore, it actually is heavenly. And I can't wait for winter when it's freezing outside. Oh yah, baby. And most importantly, Rob LOVES it. It really is his baby. Except now I go to bed by myself every night because he's relaxing in his "grotto" for hours on end. Oh, boy.
Parx's First Haircut
(May 2012)
My baby is growing up!! I held off as long as I could, but even I had to admit it was finally time to let the long tail in back go. He was a champ. He was completely fascinated by what was going on and did not move an inch or even whimper once. Oh, I love this kid.
Easter 2012
Due to extreme circumstances this year, we spent the Easter holiday separated. Mekinley and Sierra went to St. George with my parents and the boys stayed home with us. More eggs for them!! We went to Ted and Ciara's and had a great day with them. Parx was all about the Easter egg hunt. I think Myles was more into the mini BMX track Ted has in his backyard. Oh, I love my boys! (And my girls!)
